What a brilliant start year 5 and 6 have had to the new school year! The children have shown resilience and determination every day; they have dived straight into learning! They have explored their class text ‘Sky Song’ in English and some children even drew maps of the kingdom Erkenwald. Power Maths has been in full flow and the children have begun to learn about the Anglo-Saxon era. On top of this, they have enjoyed PE, writing letters of applications for different roles and responsibilities, discussing how we can be kind and accepting in No Outsiders and they even managed to squeeze some French in too. What a busy week! Well done Class 10, 11 and 12! Superstars!
