Modern Foreign Languages- French

Learning a Modern Foreign Language is essential for developing linguistic competence. It helps to develop pupils’ communication skills, promoting effective listening and speaking for purpose. Adopting an additional language helps children to instil their understanding of the world. Our aim at Cledford is for the children to possess a passion for languages and to be enthused to continue their learning at high school.
