Automata Toys

Year 6 visited Middlewich High School to start the construction of their automata toys which they had designed last week. The children had to measure out accurate lengths of baton and saw them safely. They then used glue guns to join the batons to form their frame. The final touches were drilling holes for the dowel and the cams. All children listened respectfully, followed instructions well and were incredibly safe whilst they worked. They represented Cledford beautifully. Well done, year 6! Next up: adding our designs to our frames! A special thank you to the DT staff at Middlewich High School for helping us with this project.
