Safeguarding for families

Cledford Primary & Nursery Academy takes part in Operation Encompass, a police-led initiative that helps schools support children who may be affected by domestic abuse.

When the police are called to a domestic incident, they inform our trained safeguarding staff before the next school day. This allows us to provide timely support to help children feel safe, supported and heard.
