Our new novel, Viking Boy by Tony Bradman, has influenced year 6's writing this week. The children have been using this excellent book to explore the way that one particularly well-chosen word or phrase can make a reader feel a certain way. The children have also worked hard to edit their writing by reordering and removing unnecessary words to have the biggest impact. We enjoyed reading our work aloud to gain advice from others, too.
