Y2 Maths

Year 2 have been learning all about shape for the last couple of weeks. This week we have been looking at 3D shapes specifically. They found counting edges, faces and vertices quite tricky. To make it a little easier for them, they have been building shapes out of straws and playdoh today so that they could physically count the edges, vertices and faces (plus we had a little bit of fun too!)
